Anna loves STEM and is a studying biology and chemistry at the University of Utah. Anna is also a researcher in Dr. Ryan Looper's organic medicinal chemistry lab researching the organic synthesis of natural products and their antibiotic potential. Anna is an Intern for the School of Biological Sciences as a social media lead, where she curates content for the Biology School's social media pages. Anna also works as an Ambassador for the College of Science where she shares the opportunities that the college has to offer to current and prospective students. Anna hopes to pursue a career in health science by attending medical school.

Anna is extremely passionate about community service. She served as Miss Draper 2023 where she loved engaging with her hometown community. She serves as a role model for young girls as she teaches about science through her community service initiative Fem Stem. Anna was also a representative of the city as she organized and attended city events where she interacted and engaged with the people of Draper. Anna is also a proud advocate for teaching and talking about safe sex and STI prevention as she volunteers weekly with UAF Legacy Health (Formerly known as the Utah AIDS Foundation) by helping run their STI test site.

In her personal life, Anna loves rock climbing, traveling, boating, and reading. She loves spending time with her family, friends, and dog when she isn't studying or in the lab!
